Bailey LOVES to dance now. She just loves it! Shakin’ her little booty back and forth. It’s completely adorable.
Devon asked me a question and I took too long to answer. He said, “Say, My Heck Yes!”
Carson lost a toy in Costco. It was a pretty small one, as well. I forgot to go look for it, so when we got back out to the car, he said, “Mom, I have to go find my toy! I said a prayer, so I know I’ll find it now.” And he was totally right. We went in and nearly walked right to it. What great faith!
Bailey saw a little dog toy and started reaching for it and barking, with a little “Ufff! Ufff!”
Carson had his walkie talkie’s he got for his b-day from Kael and Seth. We were driving to Grantsville, and it was pretty much THE sweetest he has EVER been in his life. He’d call one of us and say, “Dad, I know that you are the funnest and coolest.” “Mom, I know that you are the sweetest.” “Dev, I know that you are not feeling very good, but you are the coolest brother.” “Bailey, I know that you are the cutest in the whole world and I love you the best and you are so funny.” Then he made up a song about us as an eternal family. It was seriously SO STINKIN’ CUTE! I couldn’t stop smiling. I even teared up a bit because it was just so so sweet!
Along with the one below this, I was talking with Dev later that same day and was asking him to tell me the Joseph Smith story. When he got to when Satan tries to stop him, he said Haton again. Then he said, “Jesus and Heavenly Fah-ver came, and Heavenly Fah-ver said, “Behold, this is my belovin’ Son. Hear him.” So sweet.
Devon said today, “I hate Haton”. I said, “Who is Hatan? And we don’t say hate.” Dev said, “Well, Haton is another way to say Satan. So I hate Haton.”
Bailey held out her hand like she wanted to high five me. So I said “High Five” and gave her one. She thought it was great, and soon wanted EVERYONE to high five her. She’d hold her hand up and say, “Hi Bye” or “Hi Fie” She got the High part down great, but the other part normally just rhymed–I realize she isn’t talking yet, but she was totally imitating us.
Devon said he wanted cake for breakfast. I told him he couldn’t. He said, “Well, maybe we should get some cake cereal.” Why wouldn’t they have that? They have cookie cereal. I told him I didn’t know of anyone who sells cake cereal. He said, “Well, we could make some. We get grape nuts, eyeballs, and a balloon. Get a pan, and mix it all together! So…do that okay?”
Bailey loves to play the piano, but she can barely reach the keys. The lid was closed today, and she was still reaching up on her tip-toes moving her little fingers up and down trying to play the keys on the lid. She had this confused look on her face, but was very determined cause she knew they were up there somewhere!
