The heart wreath above I made using THIS tutorial. I had the material left over from last year when it was on sale after Valentine’s Day. I would have LOVED to use the same red burlap as she did in the tutorial, but again, trying not to spend too much money (not to mention, the closest Joanne’s to me is 45 minutes away).
The rest of the pictures show some Robert Kaufman fabric I bought from Crafter’s Vision on a super awesome sale a couple of years ago. I didn’t use it then because honestly, I didn’t really love it. But this year I pulled it out of my stash of fabric, and I completely love it this year! Funny how things change sometimes, huh? I kind of used it for everything. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on decorating, so I tried to scrounge up what I had. For Valentine’s Day I had….nothing. Oh wait, I did have one wooden heart to decorate with. I love the kissing scene from the fabric. The coasters to the side were from my friend Kim for Christmas, and the little LAUGH, LOVE picture easels were from Real Dealz for $3.00 each–purchased a couple months ago. Love that place!
Love vases from the dollar store. They look cuter IRL. The table runner shows the Robert Kaufman fabric really well.
Silver frames from the dollar store.

I was hoping I’d find something amazing to stuff the vases with, and I had nothing. Then an idea hit me–tulle! I had some already and it filled the vases to the top, not to mention holding up the flowers.
I have a few more tutorials saved to maybe try, but if I can’t find the time, I’m okay with what I’ve already got. It was fun!

Those are so cute! I guess I'll have to look through my stash of fabric. Super cute!

These are all absolutely adorable. I am definitely lacking on V-day decor. I got out our box this year and we had a whoppin ONE decoration to pull out. Why did I even put it in a box? :) Can't wait to try some of these ideas!
