We had a great Easter weekend. It was nice to lounge around in our pj’s most of the conference weekend and just hang out together. We had a lot of snow in the morning on Easter, so we did our egg hunt inside.
Bailey loved her new purse. I made it for her at a sewing group in my ward. You can find the free pattern HERE.
I bought a bowtie at DI to take apart and figure out how to make one. It was not just one big piece like a real bowtie. I changed a few things and will have a tutorial on my craft blog today.
This is the dress I made for Bailey. I was proud of myself because I didn’t use a pattern. Well, that quickly wore off because it would probably fit size 6-9 months, not 18 months! Bailey and I had a good laugh trying to get it on and then even more so–off of her. I’ll have to try and re-do it so it will fit her!
We dyed Easter eggs on Sunday as well.
Easter dinner was at my mom’s house. She set up a store downstairs for all the kids and gave them an egg full of pennies. Everything in the store was a penny. Good way to get rid of stuff:). The kids loved it.
And lastly, Bailey sure felt like a big girl with her older cousins.
Happy Easter everyone! Hope you all had a great Easter!

Your family is so cute! I'm glad that I can keep updated again!:) The next time we're down in Utah we'll all have to get together. I'm so glad that Reese and Dillon were able to hang out. Reese needed a guy's night. I love looking at all of your craft projects, you're so creative! My sis and I are always looking for new craft ideas….we'll def have to check your blog out from time to time! Have a great week! (We had a snow day today….No work for me, no school for the kids…a snow day in April..only in Idaho!!)

I sure hope you can fix that dress to be the right size, because it sure is cute! I think the greatest part is that you laughed and had fun while trying to get it on. Now THAT will be a fun memory! :)

I love your mom's idea. But how much of her old stuff did you end up with? too funny! and Bailey's purse is so crazy cute! You need to post it on your craft blog (and in Rae's Flickr). I seriously love that dress. You have to make another, even if you have to use other fabric.
