I do NOT like our computer room. I was about to say hate, but that’s a little strong because I am thankful we have a finished room in our basement, but seriously, it’s pretty ugly. The people before us finished it themselves, and they did some strange strange things to it, like make the wall the texture of those bumpy old ceilings. It hurts to make a bed close to the wall. The ceiling is like one you’d see in a school with the little rectangle tile things. But I don’t want to put a lot of effort and money into it really, since we won’t be here forever. All this to show you this little before and after. I still have to make pillow shams and curtains for the bed that are damask, but for now, this is what I’ve got done. I do realize it’d look WAY better painted a different color, but like I said, I don’t feel like it!
*I first got the idea to do the fabric in the frames from my friend Lori. What a great idea! I’ve since seen it a few places in magazines. (As a side note, you should really check out Lori’s blog…she has some awesome stuff on there!)

I love the colors and fabrics! I may steal the scheme for our bedroom, which actually doubles as our computer room. We’re super classy like that.

Ohh, was that the room you were talking about last night? I totally thought you were talking about your family room. No wonder it got confusing between the 3 of us. . .nevertheless, fantastic job. I’m not gonna lie, I was thinking of doing the same thing with fabric. It’s so much cheaper and you can pick pretty much EXACTLY what you want. The fabric is B-utiful!!!
