Let the Wrestling Begin (way late!)

December 7, 2010 By Christie

So we just found out that wrestling started like a month ago. Since the boys have been looking forward to it since last year and “practicing” and everything, we still signed them up. Luckily, they do a spring season as well that the money we just paid covers.  Which means that even though they were there almost the whole season last year, they’ll get more wrestling in this time around. They were super stoked and were practicing a lot this last week with each other.  Devon asked Carson, “So, do you get hurt sometimes?”  Carson said, “It’s not painful if you get a scar out of it.”  Ha ha!  Um, yes it is son. My absolute favorite to watch, though, are the warm-ups.  It is seriously hilarious to watch my boys try these super-man rolls, cartwheels, crab-walking, lunges, etc.  I love it:).  I might have to film them one of these practices because I can’t stop giggling when they warm-up.  I quite sure the men sitting around me think I’m insane. When Devon and Carson got home, they so wanted to keep wrestling Dillon.  Devon exploded with a loud whoop and ran in the living room full force, ready to go again, yelling, “I LOVE WRESTLING!”   DSCF3867DSCF3868DSCF3869DSCF3870 Don’t worry, I quickly got her out of the way after I snapped a couple shots of her trying to copy the kids. Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
