Dillon wasn’t feeling all that great on Christmas Eve morning unfortunately, so while he slept, the kids and I watched Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas in our bedroom until it was time to go to my sister’s house. We spent the afternoon at my sister’s house and had a delicious dinner followed by our traditional Christmas Eve Program. I really do love this get together—the whole evening is spiritual with songs and stories and my Grandpa reads the birth of our Savior in the scriptures. It’s always so much fun! Even if I don’t have any more pictures than this while there. We got home and the kids got to open their presents from each other, which I already stated was so cute because they were all so excited to GIVE:). Then we wrote our “presents to Jesus” after watching The Nativity movie from the church, put out milk and cookies, and sprinkled the reindeer food on the ground! Devon was so excited he jumped in bed and said, “I don’t want to read books tonight!” He just couldn’t wait to go to sleep! So Dillon and I set up Christmas, I checked on the kiddos at 10 and Carson was still awake. Dillon and I watched The Grinch and both fell asleep. I call all of that the perfect Christmas Eve!
