Dillon and I were just talking tonight about Bailey and what a stinker she can be these days, ha ha! BUT… But she’s been so funny and talkative as well—she always has us laughing. We also talked about how stressed we were when Carson and Devon acted this way as 2 1/2 year olds. . But I think we realize now how quickly this fun and crazy stage goes by. She’s potty training and that has been going GREAT! She had a few accidents the first day, but the rest of the week she only had two (one today when she fainted—right when she woke up she said, “Ah! I peed my pull-up!”). We tried just straight underwear for the first 3 days, but I got too stressed because we go so many places! And she only peed once in her pull-up (refer to above bit in parentheses). This is her thumbs up: I think part of her difficult-ness is because of the potty training and the new independence she has. It was pretty cute though. The first few days she was potty training, when she had to pee she’d gasp and exclaim, “I have to potty train!” Then she’d run up all on her own, close the door, go, wipe, yell at me when I tried to come in, and flush all by herself. So she’s started to now get up at night again over and over and won’t stay in bed until about 10:30 until she’s completely exhausted and falls asleep on the floor. She also tries to convince me that she can do her own hair already. She put my clip in and yelled proudly, “Mom! Look! I’m pretty!” She saw my painted toes this morning and said, “We have to paint mine too!” When some of the nail polish came off, she told me tonight, “My nails aren’t polish.” She tries to even talk about moving to Grantsville by Grandpa Hurst. She talks about him more than any other person, after Dillon, of course:). She convinced the babysitter that she could sleep with the boys… She LOVES her brothers and won’t listen to a word I say unless they obey me, too. Which means she loves anything they love and does anything they do. They really are terrific big brothers to her. She’s a lucky girl. And they LOVE her so much, too. Like I said, she gets out of bed a lot. Here are some things she likes to do when she gets out of bed: She’s been insisting to wear her cowgirl boots everywhere. If Dillon asks if she’s a princess, she’ll quickly disagree and say, “No! I’m a COWgirl.” She’s also just made up an imaginary friend named Mary. Sometimes there are two Mary’s. Mary sits in Bailey’s carseat so she doesn’t have to. Bailey is a caring friend and will buckle her up and when I tell her to get buckled, she’ll say, “No! Mary is sitting there!” If I say Mary is sitting in the seat next to her, she’ll say, “No, there are lots of Mary’s. One Mary is sitting there.” She also yells at me when I try and close the van door, telling me that Mary didn’t get in yet.

Haha! I loved her post the most, she made me laugh out loud quite a few times. :) What a darling little girl! That was fun to read the updates on your boys too, what a cute idea.
