(I had a whole paper full of these to catch up on for April, but it’s no where to be found!) Carson was sick last week and got up with a really high fever. I felt bad for him, but couldn’t help but laugh when he kept blaming the gravity. “Oh, I can’t walk. This gravity is doing it. It’s really getting me!” Dillon was playing with Bailey and she randomly said, “I’m an alien.” He asked, “You’re an alien?!” She paused and said, “I’m a …Balien.” Dillon was washing his dutch oven in the kitchen. Bailey had gotten out some sprinkles and he put them away when she wasn’t watching. She turned around and said, “I needed those sprinkles! They were CHOCOLATE sprinkles!” We just got done taking care of some hermit crabs. Dillon was sprinkling some seasoned salt into the dutch oven potatoes. Bailey said, “Dad! Why are you putting hermit crab food in there?” The boys were teasing Bailey–she was loving it and running away. As she was running she’d yell, “But I’m the lost princess!” (from Tangled–not exactly like in the movie, but still cute). I said to Bailey, “Bailey! We need to go brush your teeth!” She gasped and put her fingers in her mouth, and said, “Are my teeth turning GREEN?” After Devon’s lesson for FHE, Dillon asked him if he would like to tell us his testimony like he did in Sacrament. He stood up quickly and proudly, placed his right hand over his heart, and bore his testimony. So cute! Dillon was changing a really poopy diaper and mentioned this to Bailey. She said, “Yah, I don’t sure hope I get poop all over the world!”
