Carson was supposed to work on his talk for church, but since we’d had a really long day, he just didn’t feel like it. So he told me, "I’m out of the business of giving talks." Bailey was playing with this neat water paint thing Rachelle gave her for her birthday. I was watching her and said, "Bailey! That is so cool!" She sighs and says, "Mom…they aren’t cool. It’s just pretty." We drove past the Oquirrh Mountain Temple tonight and Carson said, "Do we get to meet President Monson in that temple?" It was so cute and innocent the way he said it. Makes me appreciate those little things he says so much more the older he gets! Devon told me today, "My teacher drinks coffee. But that’s ok. Drinking coffee doesn’t mean your like a mean person or anything." Bailey told me that she was ‘lots of tired’. Bailey was sitting on a ball doing some cool moves. I asked her what she was doing. "I’m exer cotton." I asked, "Your what? Exer cotton?" She replied, "Yah, exer cotton!" I asked her if she meant exercising and she agreed:). Bailey is all into the differences between boys and girls now. She had this little conversation with Devon last week. "Boys don’t have butts." Devon laughed and said, "Yes they do!" She said, "Well, BOY babies, no." I wonder if she was thinking something but didn’t know how to say it right!
