(aka, Bailey is saying a lot of funny things these days) Carson was talking about something and we were talking about how things weren’t always fair. Devon said, “I think life is fair.” I reminded him how sometimes he doesn’t always feel that way, and that’s ok but it’s true, life isn’t always fair. He said, “Yah, but it’s still a good good world!” What an optimistic kid he is :). Bailey was putting some blankets very nicely onto the couch. She was pretty proud of herself and I made sure to tell her how great it looked. Dillon got home and she showed him the blankets and said, "I so extremely put those blankets on here!" Then in church she was looking through a Friend magazine and thought a girl looked like her friend Reagan. Carson told her it wasn’t, but she said quite loudly, "That is EXTREMELY Reagan!" Bailey will frequently run into the room these days and say, "Mom! I’m grown up! I can reach the top of my dresser!" or other things like that. She got out the tape measure the other day and measured herself. "Yep, I’m four pounds! I’m getting SO BIG!" Bailey was watching Sid the Science Kid (I actually really hate that show). At the end of the show, it said, "And remember kids. When you grow up you can be anything you want to be!" Bailey was staring intently at the TV with her two hands under her chin and said very seriously, "Like a cheetah." Bailey slips in her high heel shoes from Christmas all the time. Once it was down the stairs and so while I picked her up, she said with frustration, "But I just BOUGHT these shoes!" You know your kids are obsessed with Star Wars when they sing, "R2D2" over and over to the tune of the Hallelujah Chorus!
