-Bailey asked me, “Mommy? Are you getting chicken pox like me?” She was talking about goose bumps. -When it was Bailey’s first day of preschool, we were all getting excited for her at breakfast. She held out her arms and said, “Hugs, hugs” and wanted to hug everyone. Pretty cute. -Devon put on a red clown nose and Carson told him he was being funny. Devon said, “It’s not funny! It’s hard work having a red nose!” -I love love how Bailey says her B’s sometimes. She will vibrate the B sound for a while before finishing the word. -We were watching a couple of our neighbor friends and Carson was inside watching them play. He sighed happily and said, “I bet this is one of their happiest memories together.” Cracked me up. -Bailey asked if I was trying to have another girl baby (which we didn’t tell the kids I was pregnant at this point). And then told me that boy babies grow up to be Daddy’s and girls grow up to be mommy’s. Then she asked me if boys can have babies in their tummies and when I asked her what she thought, she said yes. When I told her they actually can’t she said, “Oh, I didn’t know that.” Then she said, “Can mommies have nice baby animals in their tummies? I think you have a baby animal in your tummy. A piggy. But not with mud on it.” I asked, “Do you think humans can have animals?” Her reply was, “Yah, I think they can.” -Every time Bailey likes our answer to something, she blows us a kiss.
