When Devon woke up on his bday and saw the balloons, the first thing he did was give everyone their own. Sweet boy. Devon’s teacher told us and him at PTC that he is an excellent writer! If Dev is up too late he has a really hard time falling asleep and gets panicky about it. As sad (and frustrating) as it is, it can be quite funny. The other night he was saying things like, "I’ve thought of everything happy! My birthday, St. Patrick’s Day…" Then he told Dillon he wanted to sleep so he wasn’t ornery the next day. I told him he’s been falling asleep his whole life and once he yelled out, "I forgot how!" Bailey is SO SO excited for the baby to get here. It feels like FOREVER to her! She asks me all the time when she’s going to be here. She’s always giving my belly hugs and kisses–sometimes more than me! Then she’ll say, "I gave the baby more kisses than you…is that ok?" Bailey randomly asked, "Mom? Do we eat tigers, just not the claws?" I answered her and then she said, "Walruses?" Dillon was telling Bailey a story. Then another and another. They were all about his scars he has because she asked about them. After he told them she said, "Daddy? Can you tell me another story that doesn’t end with you getting stitches?" Bailey said, “Maybe when I’m six I’ll get to know ballet better.” Bailey calls her Webkinz kitten, “Wet Kitten” While looking at the cal ranch chicks, one of them pooped. Bailey told me she saw it lay an egg. When we walked into Cal Ranch, Devon said, “Smells like Western in here!”
