-I love that Devon was so excited for conference. He said, “Conference? I LOVE conference!” -Ruby was talking by herself in the front room while Bailey and I were in the kitchen. Bailey said, “She found a new friend…the couch.” -Bailey was talking and I thought she was talking to Ruby, so I said, “Oh, you’re talking to me?” She answered, “Of course I’m talking to you! Ruby isn’t going to answer me!” and laughed. -Can you tell I just think Bailey is pretty cute and funny? I think ages 4 and 5 are great. -The boys just HAVE to get a smile from Ruby before leaving anywhere:) -Just some thoughts of mine concerning Ruby: I can’t live in fear… But sometimes I’m swallowed up by it for a few moments. I’ve “met” on the FB group people who have heart transplant kiddos, or even parents who have lost their children (those stories make me sob). But honestly, something could happen to any of our kids, at anytime. We just be thankful to have each other. -Devon said to Carson about prison, “Did you know you can’t be trapped until you are ten?” -Carson was in the van when I dropped Devon off at his friends house. Carson looked at Devon as we drove away and said, “He’s growing up!” -It rained and Bailey went up to Carson and politely said, “Would you like to jump in a rain puddle with me, Carson?” -There was a week where after every fight Carson had with the other kids, he would tell them he loved them! I was so impressed! He said he remembered me telling them it was important to tell each other you love each other. Loved it while it lasted! :) -Devon saw some cool ponies he liked and told Bailey he’d buy her all those ponies if he had a lot of money. So sweet. -Devon was talking about his reflexes and said his flexes worked good.
