And look what we have this morning! Lots of smiles!!!
about 10:30 am.
We finally got the discharge papers all signed, were trained on what to do for her in case of an emergency, and we put her in the carseat to go. And she giggled and giggled. It was pretty cute.
My mom was awesome and planned on keeping the kids a couple more days while we settled into life again. She and the kids decorated for us for when we got home :). So cute.
We unloaded, set her on my bed, and I took some more pictures because she was just so happy!
Here’s my update on instagram: “We’ve been home for 4 hours! So so happy. Ruby giggled when we put her in her car seat and even more when we got home. Came home on lasix (to make sure fluid doesn’t build around her heart) and enalapril (for blood pressure). She is doing so well. Still gags on her pain med and nearly throws up each time, but she is happy. And we are home. And I am just overjoyed. My baby made it through!!! Will have another echo done in a couple weeks to check the pressures in her heart.”
And then my last update for the day: Best Christmas present ever, having her home. Missing my other kids while they stay with grandma, but we’ll all be together soon. Tears of joy!!!
