Slowly but Surely

October 18, 2011 By Christie

Slowly but surely I’ll get some posts up!  Even if they are just a couple pictures!  I still have a lot of catching up to do though.  Maybe one post a day until I’m caught up will be a good goal, since they don’t take a long time individually.  It’s just thinking of it all at once that overwhelms me! These pictures might not seem like a big deal to those of you lucky enough to live so close to a grocery store, but our neck of the woods finally has its own grocery store!  So slowly but surely we’ll become our own town (now that there is a high school that helps as well).  DSC_0806 The kids got funny chicken hats, their faces painted, and we actually won a free marinated delicious chicken.  The kids thought it was the best store ever, especially with all the yummy food we bought because of the grand opening.DSC_0808DSC_0809 Except for this kid…Carson decided he was too cool for face painting.  And he’s too cool for holding my hand in public nowadays.  Sad :(.  It won’t stop me from doing it though!DSC_0810 So now Bailey asks me all the time to go to the new store.  She doesn’t realize that it’s not that fun anymore.  But yay!  Finally a grocery store so we don’t have to drive 10 minutes to get to the closest one!DSC_0807

Ahh, Bailey . . . you are too cute for words! Just wait until you're old like me and the thought of spending all that money and time in the grocery store makes me a little bit crazy each week.

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
