She…never forgets that we need to pray in our nightly routine. I wouldn’t either, but she’s always a step ahead. If I talk about getting ready for bed, she always says, “AND say our prayers.” She…ditched her new Barbie to play with her new stick horse and run around like a crazy cowgirl. She…tries to convince herself to spend her bit of birthday money on a girl toy, only to walk out of the store with legos. She…won’t respond to you when she’s acting like an animal. Mostly cats and horses or dinosaurs. If you talk to her like she’s herself, she won’t answer you or listen until you call her the animal she is acting like and proceed. She…is such a tomboy yet does not like to be called “cool” because that’s for boys, nor does she ever wear pants. It’s always a dress or skirt. The ones that twirl best get worn first. She still calls her dresses and skirts “princesses”, for example, “I want to wear a princess today.” She…told me yesterday how much she loves me and that I’m her best friend. Dillon was walking back with her and pointed to me asking, “Who’s that?” She answered, “Oh! My friend!” Love that! She also called me Birthday Mom all day since I called her Birthday Girl all day. So cute. She…still prefers her Daddy over me (most of the time—sometimes she changes her mind these days). She…is always telling me, “You’re the best mom ever!”, or talking about this day is the best day ever, or even how the piece of candy is the best candy ever, etc. She’s so positive and happy! She…is a ray of sunshine in our lives. Happy 3rd Birthday, Bailey Bean! We love you, we love you, we love you!
