Hawaii: Day Four (part II)

December 11, 2011 By Christie

The craters were HUGE on top of the volcanoes! Super interesting!  Remember, I took a lot of pictures for my kids’ sake, but Pele’s hair really was awesome! It was raining at this point.  We went inside this lava tube.  So bummed this turned out blurry, but my camera was under my poncho and I…

Hawaii: Day Four (part I)

December 11, 2011 By Christie

Day four was spent largely in part of the car enjoying the beautiful scenery.  I loved it.  You drive to the Hilo side of the island and feel like you walked into a Jurassic Park movie.  Stunning!  The only thing that was a little bummer was the fact that it was a bit foggy so…

Manta Ray Night Dive (still day three)

December 8, 2011 By Christie

After talking with a few people before we left for Hawaii, I knew we wanted to do some type of boat extravaganza, and we were going to go on a day trip snorkeling thing, but after being advised from two different sources how awesome the night manta ray dive was, we decided that’s what we’d…

Hawaii: Day Three (my birthday!)

December 8, 2011 By Christie

What a way to spend my birthday!!! I did miss my kiddos on my birthday, but I got to talk with them on the phone so that made it better.  Since Bailey is three, it made it so much easier to leave the kids because I didn’t have a really young one missing me as…

Hawaii: Day One and Two

December 8, 2011 By Christie

I never knew what we were missing out on, but I highly recommend Hawaii for a getaway!  It was so amazing.  We loved it so much.  Thank you mom and Karl for a great time!  I’ll just post each day during the next week hopefully, but since the first day was mostly travel, that’s combined…

Memorable Moments: November 2011

November 30, 2011 By Christie

Dillon had Devon and Bailey in the van with him while he stopped at his brothers house that’s being built. He gave Devon his flashlight and told him he’d be back and to be brave while he talked to Brad, because Bailey was sleeping. He said when he went back, Devon looked a bit…

Deer Camp

November 12, 2011 By Christie

Carson is finally old enough to go hunting with Dillon.  They didn’t have a tag or license though, so Dillon and Carson just went and hung out.  Carson had so much fun!

Reading Books and Baths, Drawings and Pillowcases

November 11, 2011 By Christie

And this just shows Bailey has brothers: Bailey is starting to draw eyes, noses, and mouths!!!  So cute!  And this actually looked even better but right before I took a picture she scribbled on the nose.  I finally got some Thanksgiving fabric so I could make some holiday pillowcases for my kids.  My kids absolutely…

After Halloween Sales

November 11, 2011 By Christie

Gotta love 75% off!  I happened to be there right when it switched from 50% off to 75% off.  Too bad it was pretty picked over already!

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
