2 Months Old and meeting again with the Neurosurgeon!

November 24, 2008 By Christie

Monday Bailey turned two months old. Really, when people ask me how old she is, it almost makes me sad to say 2 months because it just went so fast! Unfortunatley, her doctor’s appointment was actually a bit depressing. She was still in the 90% for height with her whopping 24 1/4″ tall, but her…

I Love Dillon Because…

November 15, 2008 By Christie

This morning he let me sleep in until 9:00 am. Even with him downstairs, he heard the boys getting up and ran upstairs before they could come in the room and wake me up. Bailey went to bed for real at 12, got up at 6 to eat, and fell back asleep. I feel FABULOUS…

I can’t resist!

November 15, 2008 By Christie

Today my sweet friend Marrya took us to get my kids’ pictures taken. I will be strong and refrain from posting them all since I’m sure they are copyrighted, and please don’t think less of me for posting this one, because it’s so dang CUTE! Thanks so much Marrya! I had fun today! The original…

God sure knows what He’s doing!

November 15, 2008 By Christie

My friend Dezi was telling her mom about Bailey’s surgery. I had realized a few days previously that I don’t know what could have happened had she been born naturally instead of the c-section, since her head was fused and the bones wouldn’t have been able to shift like they are supposed to. The doctor…

Yet Another Shopping Incident

November 14, 2008 By Christie

Hopefully these will not become numbered posts, but I do want to keep track of the good ones! I had dropped Carson off at preschool and went to Walmart to do some grocery shopping with Devon and Bailey. Bailey has decided early on that she is NOT a shopper. She doesn’t sleep in the store…

I Love Dillon Because…

November 14, 2008 By Christie

As previously mentioned, I’m gonna be annoying and steal an idea from my cousin Jennifer, because I think it’s great! I really REALLY hope you don’t mind Jennifer!I am not near the writer as she is, and when you see the title, if you aren’t wanting to read anything sappy for the day, just skip…

Some All-Over-The-Place Thoughts

November 14, 2008 By Christie

Really, really random, so skip this if that sort of thing bugs you! FIRST TOPIC: MY FAMILYLast week I got to go on a night out with my sisters, my brother Eric, and my Mom and Karl. We went to Zupa’s, then I went with my sisters to my favorite store in the world, Target….

Great Article

November 11, 2008 By Christie

If you haven’t read the previous post, do that first before continuing on here. There is a great talk by Elder Holland that addresses this very issue. Here is just part of his talk that impressed me: “I plead with you young women to please be more accepting of yourselves, including your body shape and…

Why I like these celebrities.

November 11, 2008 By Christie

Be it a big nose, overweight, funky-shaped nose, or flat-chested, they don’t change their appearance even though they can. Can you imagine the pressure people have put on them to fit the mold of perfect? I have heard plenty of people in real life say they these celebrities should get this or that fixed, yet…

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
