Just for Kicks, AND In My Dreams!!!

October 28, 2008 By Christie

Let’s see, not really accurate on any, but it was fun to see anyways! I got Kate Hudson and Beyonce on two different photos of mine–that’s where the “in my dreams” part comes along. The only celebrity people have said I ever look like was Gwenyth Paltrow or Clair Daines. On another photo of me,…

Spittin’ Image

October 27, 2008 By Christie

The main differences between Carson and Dillon is their lips and eyebrows, but other than that, wow! Carson sure is a little Dillon! I found this picture of me flipping through an old photo album, and it totally reminded me of Devon (with long, scrappy hair–did I just wake up???). I’ve never known who he…

Bailey Pumpkin

October 26, 2008 By Christie

Bailey has many nicknames…Bailey Bean, Bailey Popcorn, Bailey Girl, Bailey Eyes…you name it, my boys have called her that. Yesterday, she was Bailey Pumpkin.

Pumpkin Walk

October 26, 2008 By Christie

Not so big as Logan’s pumpkin walk, but still lots of fun without all the people! Not that Logan is busy compared to Salt Lake, but still… Gotta love free things to do! Carson cheating in the hay maze. Not entirely sure he can see with that thing on. Bailey was so glad to get…

Halloween Party

October 26, 2008 By Christie

My mom was great and threw all 13 grandkids a party for Halloween. The kids especially loved the story she told about bringing back a dead body in parts from Paris, and getting to feel the parts of this dead, decaying body in bags. Gross…and great fun for kids! Thanks mom for a great time!…

My Grandparents

October 26, 2008 By Christie

I had the chance to visit with Grandpa Brinkerhoff yesterday for a few minutes. It was great! Do you ever realize that you have taken someone in your life for granted and just wanna kick yourself for not taking advantage of the time you could spend with them? That was me as I was chatting…

Our Pumpkin Patch

October 24, 2008 By Christie

I was a bit lazy this year with our garden after I got past 7 months pregnant, so I didn’t pick any blossoms off the pumpkin vine to make some of them grow bigger than others. Sadly, we had casualties in our garden–the squash bugs killed two of our pumpkin plants, so good thing this…

Smiles and Snuggles

October 22, 2008 By Christie

I am not a morning person–especially when it gets cold outside (and thus inside, since our room is the coldest spot in the house!) and I would much rather stay snuggled up in my warm bed and not get out till 9 or 10! This morning was much the same as others, but I wasn’t…

Wrinkles aren’t so bad!

October 22, 2008 By Christie

On me, yes…on her? Just cute! Speaking of wrinkles though, this sweet old lady in the ward came by with her grand-daughter for a fund-raiser. I was holding a fussy Bailey and asked the lady if she could hold her while I grabbed the money. She was so happy and said, “Ohhhh! I was hoping…

Halloween Fun

October 21, 2008 By Christie

Dillon decided it was time we did the yearly decorating of the Sugar Cookies. He’s a big fan of sweets, so no wonder he remembered:). I’d rather save time and effort and make good ol’ easy pumpkin cookies cause they taste better! But the kids love it, so decorate them we will. I’m still looking…

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
