And I don’t mean the animals at the zoo. I could not believe that I joined this crowd of insane people to get a measly 15 pieces of candy for the boys. Never. Again. Sure, the boys had fun, but when you factor in that it took 20 minutes to find a parking space 1/4 mile down the road (and Carson didn’t feel well that day, only to find last night he has pink eye, an ear infection, and strep throat!!! I wonder how many things we picked up there with all those people! Devon has a croupy cough at night, and I have a horrible sinus infection and sore throat), stood in this humongo jumbo line through the whole zoo–I’m not kidding, the whole zoo was one big line. The kids enjoyed seeing the other costumes, but really they were not into the line at all, they wanted to see the animals, but you just couldn’t with all those people, it was a madhouse. The lady behind us in the line (that we stood in forever and didn’t even go through half of it!) said that she’s come for 4 years now and it was really fun until this year because there were way more people. Anyways, lesson learned. I hate crowds, the boys got every illness you can in the winter, and we’ve got a whoppin’ 30 pieces of candy to show for it. Oh, and these 2 cute pictures:). Sorry for the rant. Maybe I’m a Enochiophobiac (I did have to look that up).
Trick or Treating with the Animals at the Zoo
This was by the elephants (they are really in the back, I promise). We only got to see the elephants and the rhinos, although we were right by a lot of animals, you couldn’t see them.

They are really cute. I’m sorry Carson got so sick! That’s so sad. I hope he’s feeling better today. Good luck!
