Texas Trip!

My sisters and I had a blast visiting my Dad this past weekend in Dallas. He took us to a few places and we met some of his friends and ate a LOT of yummy food. My dad totally spoiled us and is such a gentleman! It was so much fun hanging out with my sisters (with lots of giggling involved), relaxing, and of course the best part was getting to see my dad! Our hubby’s were so kind to watch all our kids for 3 days! Thanks so much for the great time everyone! I loved it! I am glad to be home with my kids, but sad that Dillon took off to Reno today for probably another 2 weeks or longer (insert crying like a baby here).

Friday night at Trulucks restaurant–super yummy seafood! His best friend Tammy came with us–she was super fun!
Dad now owns a Buick Rendevous. His camero he traded in is still at the dealership, so this is him visiting it and being “sad” :).
Where we stayed–really nice place where he lives–they have an extra apartment you can rent out for visitors if your place isn’t big enough, which is what we did (well, my dad).

We ate breakfast and wandered around a really neat place called the Gaylord Texan. I’d love to vacation there! This is his friend Heedy in the picture.
And just because…my boys sweet smiles (eating gum so looking a bit different!) cause they were so happy to see me:)…and I them!

  2. I know . . . I can’t believe we’re due around the same time and I look like an exploding blimp and you are so cute and little. Looks like you had so much fun with your Dad! Lots of fun stuff.
