Feeling Great!

August 23, 2008 By Christie

I honestly cannot believe how blessed I’ve been to have this pregnancy be at least twice as easy as the other two–maybe it is the sex of the baby, maybe it’s that I had my gall bladder out after Devon was born. Whatever the reason, I am pretty dang comfortable for being only 20 days from the due date. I can’t even imagine having her early, and am not in any hurry-I’m totally fine with the due date! I know with the other two I felt really sick again–I still get an occasional day with morning sickness and what comes with that (for me at least), but overall, I feel great other than being tired. How blessed I feel!
The baby is moving lots and lots now–and ALWAYS at 11:30 at night she starts the kicking and squirming. There were a couple days of her foot or hand under my ribs, but she luckily moved it and I was once again comfortable. It’s funny, cause I felt worse and more uncomfortable during my 6th month!
The boys love hugging my belly and talking to her. They are SO excited for her to come. Devon told me in the store the other day it was time to cut her out (hopefully that’s not what will be happening!). Carson is concerned about her being naked. He asked me if she had clothes on and I said that any baby ever born was naked, and he said, “Well, we should really get some clothes on her before she comes out.”
I just hope they aren’t too disappointed that she won’t be talking and playing with them much, but crying, sleeping, and eating all the time!

Really cute. “She’d better put some clothes on!” I’m glad you are feeling so well! Get your sleep now! :)

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
