College Roommates and Still Friends

August 17, 2008 By Christie

Last night I met up with Turley and Dezi–two of my best friends. We sure missed Britta and Alvey, also my best friends. I’ve known Dezi and Britta since I was 12 or 13, and we were lucky enough to room together at BYU and meet Turley and Alvey. Such great memories we all have together, with many more in the making!

We went to Iggy’s and watched the Olympics–man was Michael Phelps awesome or what?! So fun to watch. Plus, Dezi gave me some super cute baby clothes, and Turley gave me a soft and cuddly awesomely made baby blanket (her mom made it for me:). Thanks girls! You are the best!

After talking a lot of the old days, and laughing a lot at the present funny things happening last night, I just couldn’t help thinking I’d want to do a little tribute to some of my closest buddies–who will most likely remain that way. Thanks for all the laughs and good times! Yes, we thought we were the coolest, and after looking at these pictures, I’m fully convinced we were right … aren’t you all?

And now, without further ado, a butt-load of pictures…(does anyone have to get up at the ‘butt-crack’ of dawn?)

Boy, that guy looks buoyant! (these top two pics are the newest additions to the laugh list–Big B, Alvey, we’ll have to explain these to you!)

One of MANY dances we made up together…or copied from things. Painting faces for football games.
Tampons and sock bunnies!
Oh Britta…that’s all–oh Britta.
Table dancing and Alvey’s splits.
These pictures were from a sleepover (as if we didn’t always sleepover) during FINALS week–Indian leg wrestling and flips off the bed (yep, that’s me–with dark brown hair–you’d think I would’ve learned my lesson that time, but sadly, no).

‘Ha Ha’ game and again, Oh Britta…you make me laugh!
This rocks–okay, it rules…the border does say “no sex” around the whole thing (I added that:)

Second Year at BYU: Apartment 37

I did mention that we were still just as cool our 2nd year attending BYU, didn’t I? Especially wearing our “Super Sexy” shirts. Wow. Again…Wow.

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
