One on One Time with the Boys

August 26, 2008 By Christie

I absolutely LOVE just having one on one time with my boys–especially when it means that Dillon has one of them and they get time with him as well. This last weekend was Carson’s turn to hang out with dad, and he got to go to Manti to one of Jerry’s last rodeo’s, then sleep over, and go fishing the whole next day. Devon’s turn is this weekend, and they are going to go camping and fishing as well.

Carson caught his first fish:), and was so so proud of himself! Dillon couldn’t find the camera before he left (Devon and I had already left to start our own fun that night) and so I just got a picture of it frozen (well, 3 of them that are frozen) so it’s kind of gross, but what can ya do? He kept telling this loud guy talking to Dillon that he better be quiet or the fish would be scared away, then that’s when he caught it! He yelled, “I got one! I got one! I got one even those you guys were being reawy reawy loud!”

Devon and I went to Subway, went to the library for a movie, came home and played Candyland, popped popcorn and watched the show he chose–Elmo Says Boo! It was a fun night!

That is such a great idea to have one on one time. We need to start doing that because it works really well when you only have two.

Cute pictures! Carson looks so excited even though the fish is frozen. :)

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
