“This Ain’t My First Rodeo”

August 6, 2008 By Christie

But it’s almost his last. Yes folks, Dillon’s dad told us at the reunion that this summer is his last one clowning. He has been doing this for many many years. I don’t have the tribute speech (yet) they read about him at the county fair this past Friday, but it was awesome. He is such a great guy and we will miss seeing him at the rodeos! The kids have loved to go see Grandpa dance and tell jokes, and I’m sure it was great to see him during his bull-riding days. We had a great time hanging out with Dillon’s family and enjoying the rodeo that night! Sheila deserves some recognition as well, sticking it through a TON of rodeos all these years:). We sure love you guys!

Jerry is dressed as “Cow Patty”–he had the grandkids all be part of the act–all the kids are playing dead here. It was funny. Carson could not wait to get out there and be part of the act–he started out there before Grandpa even did–way before his part–Dillon had to catch him:).

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
