Cowboy Up!

September 5, 2008 By Christie

We didn’t know for sure what would be going on next week, so we decided to have Carson’s birthday party early so it would for sure happen. He had a Cowboy Party! It was a blast–especially since Dillon’s parents’ brought their horse Tiny for everyone to ride! Yah, spoiled huh…but it was free for us:). All together I probably only spent about $30.00 on the whole party, dinner included.

What a great party for a great kid. More on him next Tuesday (unless I’m in the hospital of course), the 9th, for his real birthday. It will be a low-key family day since he had this party today, but we’ll make sure to talk more about the birthday boy then!

Party Favors! I made the bandannas and bean bags–totally not worth the bandanna-making–especially since we told everyone to come dressed up and they all had them already!

Sad, this was the best one. Oh well, it was a nice thought!

First game: shooting these bad guys with a gun.

Second Game: Pin the Tail on the Horse.

Third Game: Bean bag toss into the boot.

Fourth Game: Sack Races!

Dinner was roasting hot dogs around the “campfire”.

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
