(I thought it would be fun to put an effect on these photos, thus…the effect on these photos). I went with Ryan to visit my Dad this past weekend. Dallas had beautiful weather and the trip was great! My Dad lives in Uptown Dallas right next to a beautiful trail called the Katy Trail. Such a pretty place! We stopped to walk by the Dallas Temple. Such a unique and beautiful building! We had a lot of great food. This place was amazing. We ate with his friend Tammy here. The Dallas Arboretum was breathtaking! My Dad’s friend Jolene. I also enjoyed my first Chinese massage, courtesy of Jolene. It was an hour long, and it was amazing! Thanks Jolene! This next food is from Truluck’s. Another amazing seafood restaurant! My Dad totally spoiled us. Pappadeaux and Truluck’s had THE BEST seafood I have ever tasted. Clam chowder, lobster bisque, salmon, shrimp—NOTHING had any type of rubbery texture at all and everything was flown in fresh daily. It was divine! My Dad has great decorating skills. This bed was surrounded by some big walls, and rather than investing in some expensive art that he likes, he put curtains up to make it look like there were windows, when there really isn’t! I thought that was genius! My Dad has always listened to the Beatles since they were big, and I’m thankful for that because I also love them. I LOVED this art he had in his office! Would be fun to try and replicate as a DIY! Loved this sign! ;) I miss having my Dad close, but he’s lived farther away for quite some time. Me and my siblings are trying to convince him to move to Utah, and he’s thinking about it, so hopefully it will happen! He’s such a great guy and it was fun to hang out with him and my brother for a couple days!

Wow! That looks like such a fun, fun trip! And I love the pictures you took. I'm gonna have to come over one day so you can help teach me how to make my pictures look awesome. (Or at least better. ;)
