Seeing Spots

September 11, 2008 By Christie

Before in Devon’s former room we have a lovely array of hot pink, bright orange, bright yellowish-green, and bright blue paint. The 90’s style rocking chair added a nice touch, don’t you think? And again, I promise these are just pre-painting pictures. Devon really didn’t have to live in it while looking so trashy.

Thanks to all who helped paint. Dillon and I had a lot of fun laughing and talking late one night putting one coat on.
I debated on whether or not to keep the twin bed in–it makes it a bit squishy, but I knew she’d be in it in a couple years anyways, so we kept it. I got the set from a lady on KSL, and they happen to still sell it at Target, so I bought a big curtain panel and made the valence, the dresser runner, a sposies to go bag, and a wetbag for cloth diapering to match. I loved that they still carry that line so I could get some other things to match, like the pillow and the vinyl stickers. It only cost $8.00 in material to re-cover the chair! I had a lot of fun doing the nursery! And I’m so glad it’s done:). And for the record, Dillon had forgotten that I had wanted to post pictures before the baby was born, and when I finally brought it up he set it up the next night. Thanks babe!

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
