I am not a morning person–especially when it gets cold outside (and thus inside, since our room is the coldest spot in the house!) and I would much rather stay snuggled up in my warm bed and not get out till 9 or 10!
This morning was much the same as others, but I wasn’t as tired since Bailey slept 6 hours straight last night, then another 2 after eating, so I woke up feeling a lot more refreshed than the night before!
Devon comes in anywhere from 7:00-8:00 am and normally I’m a bit of a meanie, telling him to be quiet and not wake up Bailey since she’s almost always sleeping with me by that time in the morning. I used to love him coming in bed with me to snuggle for 1/2 an hour or so until Carson woke up, but now…let’s just say it’s not as fun when I’m so tired.
But this morning, Bailey was SO smiley and my boys hopped in bed to snuggle for a while, and I just realized how great it all was.
It’s mornings like that when you feel like you WILL make it through the day!
Oh, and of course, you realize how much you love your kids :)
That is so cute. Those will be fun picture to look back on. That really is so wonderful that Bailey is letting you sleep so much!
Oh how sweet, i wish jake liked to cuddlem and i think Bailey might be the most smiley baby ever, oh i cant wait to see her on Friday..
