Happy Halloween!

November 1, 2008 By Christie

First we went trick-or-treating downtown Tooele. You can get a lot of candy quick without a bunch of exercise! Dillon kept saying that in a joking way, since it sounds so messed up! One lady loaded us up at the courthouse since she wanted to go home and had some GOOD candy (aka: chocolate).

We drove home, and chose a street in the neighborhood that was well-lit and not busy and let the kids go out while we followed in the van. Carson would yell “Happy Halloween” to everyone after he got candy. We saw Devon get candy, and continue to hold up his bag. The man said, “I already put it in there bud.” Just how you want your kids to be huh…:)

Devon was so cute–he’d tell EVERYONE we saw, “Guess what? You know who I am??? I’m Batman!” All dressed up like Batman, you know?

Carson kept saying he just couldn’t believe it was Halloween and all the candy he got.
The best part of the holidays is re-living it through my kids! I just loved watching them run from house to house as excited as they could be!

They also LOVED handing out candy to the trick-or-treaters. Devon was so excited–he sat by the door for about 15 minutes saying, “Oh trick-or-treaters….come here…we have lots of yummy candy for you!” All enticing-sounding. He also opened our door and put candy on the step so they would see it when they came. Cute boy.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Isn’t it cute that our kids were exactly the same things this year? (Ethan – Spiderman; Aidan – Batman) Ethan seemed more excited to answer the door for trick or treaters than he was to go trunk or treating too! Pretty cute ladybug!

How fun! I don’t think a little boy can ever go at least one Halloween without being spiderman or batman. And what a cute ladybug–that’s what Lily was too!

So cute! Especially the lady bug! I totally agree – holidays are so much more exciting than I ever remember them being now that I have kids.

Costumes are cute and it looks like they had the time of their lives! Did they ask to go trick or treating again the next day? And how fun . . . little Bailey sure makes a cute ladybug.

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
