Really, really random, so skip this if that sort of thing bugs you!
FIRST TOPIC: MY FAMILY
Last week I got to go on a night out with my sisters, my brother Eric, and my Mom and Karl. We went to Zupa’s, then I went with my sisters to my favorite store in the world, Target. I LOVE MY FAMILY!!! Seriously, I cannot express enough how much I love my family. They are the funnest and greatest people to me. I just love the feeling I get when I am with them. After Target, I got to talk with my sister Janina in the car for a while, which was fun. Then I went over and talked with my Mom, Karl, and Eric for a couple hours. I didn’t leave their house until 12:15 am at least! We just had a great time laughing and talking for a couple hours. It was great. Thanks Rachelle for planning it all! We really should do it more often. How blessed I feel to have my family so close by. I love it!
SECOND TOPIC: MY FRIENDS
I love my friends. I have a couple friends this month who stick out to me especially because of what they are going through, and they are some pretty strong ladies. I just wanted to thank them (you know who you are) for your great examples of sticking through it all and being such great examples to me. I am reminded of a quote, and I don’t remember who said it, so if you do, let me know! It was something about how God wanted to make us into something, and it’s a hard process. And it can be uncomfortable and even painful at times. I don’t know if it’s the same quote or different, but I think a different one talked about how we think we’re becoming one thing, when Heavenly Father has a whole different idea, but a better one. Do these ring a bell to anyone? I’d love to find out the real quotes! Anyways, that was the main idea at least! So yah, I love you girls!
THIRD TOPIC: MY KIDS
As Bailey was smiling and cooing at me during her diaper change, I was so touched by the Spirit realizing yet again how she was with Heavenly Father so recently. It’s amazing how much I want my kids to choose righteous paths–and even more amazing thinking of Heavenly Father’s love for them and how much he wants them to succeed in life. I’ve told a few people this, but when I start to worry about my kids, I have to tell myself, “Heavenly Father didn’t send them here to fail!”
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, THE FOURTH TOPIC: MY HUSBAND
I was talking with Dillon’s boss Dave’s wife (confuse you yet?). She started mentioning how sometimes it’s easy to compare hubby’s and sometimes it is just better to look at the good things they are doing rather than compare them to something great another hubby does, since they all have things they do better or worse than others. My cousin Jennifer does a cute thing on her blog where she states why she loves her husband and they are numbered as episodes. I’ve thought and thought about doing this, realizing that I will totally be copying her if I do this, but I also want to keep a list for myself of things that I love about Dillon. So Jennifer, as a compliment to your great idea, I hope you don’t mind if I do the same. I think it will be so fun to look back and realize how much my love for him grows with each passing year, and with our anniversary coming up on Monday, I realize that I don’t want to go through all these years not making some sort of record of them.

Oh, my word! You can TOTALLY steal that idea, which I probably stole from somewhere else! By all means, PLEASE share! I love to hear about other peoples’ love stories. They are what make this world so wonderful.

I think you are wonderful, Christie. Thanks for the thoughtful post.
