Bailey weighed 12 lbs. 14 oz. at her check-up, and was 25 1/2 ” long. That puts her in the 40% for weight, and the 97% for height. Her head circumference, which was always in the 90% before her surgery, is now the 75%, so you can see how much that changed her head shape by the numbers. She is doing so great. We love her so much! She is such a smiley baby. My friend Kami told me she is one of the most smiley babies she’s ever seen.
She rolled over last week, but her elbow tends to get in the way most of the time, and she doesn’t really LOVE tummy time. My friend Sabra saved us on naps–all I had to do was flip her on her tummy, and whala! Two naps a day at least, if not three, and bedtime at 7:30 ish, which is at least 3 hours earlier than before. Thank you Sabra!!! She does spend most of the night on her back, and I guess once they have good head control, it’s okay to put them on their tummy, so don’t try and scare me with SIDS please–I’ve taken every precaution I can so that she is safe:).
I did try rice cereal. See below to see how that went.
I thought I’d try it the next morning just to make sure it wasn’t because she was tired the night before. She did the same thing. Yikes! Hopefully it will go better in a couple weeks when I try again!

You are so funny! I love the word amuck. Bailey is the perfect person to use that word with her first cereal experience.

I love the play by play photos! A classic expression–she definitely was not a happy girl. Ha ha!

Oh, I know how you feel, except my baby is 3 months older and STILL does not eat baby food! Bummer! I love the good documentation of the food gone amuck! Too Cute!
