Afterwards, I had planned on walking around Temple Square, but it was so windy that we didn’t know if Bailey would love it, so we found a brick wall and some train tracks and took some pictures since I had brought the camera for Temple Square. Unfortunately, the lighting wasn’t very good since it was almost dark, and our teeny tripod was only about 6 inches off the ground, so yah, our feet and legs look ginormous compared to the rest of us, but oh well…I’m glad to have the pics. Some of them are totally funny though. We were trying not to laugh too loudly at the hoodlum dudes with froofy dogs passing us. Seriously, there was a dude all trying to be so cool on his skateboard, and on his leash was the poofiest little dog…totally made us laugh. Also, they are cropped to the side for two reasons–I like the brick wall, and Dillon’s feet were so HUGE in the pictures because he had them out most of the time…it looked funny:).
We had some time left afterwards so we decided to brave the wind and walk around Gateway a little bit…but it wasn’t windy at all there since there are so many tall buildings.
(P.S. To answer some questions I’ve gotten, yes, we do pay a babysitter almost every week. My kids love to have sitters and I don’t mind paying them at all since my kids have so much fun. I just tell them no TV cause I hate my kids watching a lot of it, and I’m not paying a sitter to watch it too! It’s been so great so far! We just do cheaper dinners and it pretty much makes up the cost of the sitter if we keep things cheaper.)
Isn’t this the funniest graffiti ever? Dillon saw it and said, “That’s my kind of graffiti.”

AND NOW FOR YOUR VIEWING PLEASURE:
A PHOTO SHOOT BY US OF US.
A PHOTO SHOOT BY US OF US.

“Dillon, I think I have something in my teeth.”
“Here, dearest, let me pick it out for you.” ewwww, and totally kidding.

“Christie, you aren’t supposed to look right at the camera.”

“My my, aren’t we looking snobbish right now?”

“Wow, you’re right. He totally has a froofy dog!!!”

“Let’s just kiss so he doesn’t see us laughing at him.”

I don’t know what you are doing Dillon, but you have a pretty awesome face on there…and what are you looking at?! Ha ha!

Me: “How about a kiss.”
Dillon: “I’ll just move away and make you look desperate.”

I love you babe!

I love the comments on each picture. And that’s my kind of graffiti too.
That was so fun! What a great date for you guys. I brought back eggs with toys in them for my boys from France. They love the little trinkets!
You guys are having a great time! Another good idea to file away…
You two are so cute! Seth hates getting his picture taken… I don’t think he’d ever go for something like that. I was going to ask you who took that new picture you put at the top of the blog on the right side of you two… very impressive that it was you!
Oh these are sooo cute!!!
Oh those pictures are cute! What a fun date night!!
XO
Cute cute pictures! Looks like you guys had a fun night!
adorable
Wait! you found Kinder Joy eggs in UT??? I thought they were banned by our stupid FDA b/c of the toys inside (afraid people would choke on them)? Okay, I’m going to London Market this week!
Also, you guys are way too cute. D would never let me do a photo shoot where he looked halfway normal. He’d just keep pulling faces.
