Finally, Bailey’s Birthday Celebrations

October 10, 2009 By Christie

Since we were gone for her b-day, then sick the week we were going to celebrate it, we finally were able to make it to the zoo for Bailey’s family celebration. She really liked it! I was glad. It was perfect because they had a ton of new babies this year at the zoo! The baby elephant, the tiger cubs, the snow leapord cubs, the monkeys, the new giraffe, and even on the day we went, there was a brand new spider monkey.
Looking at the baby elephant.
The baby elephant was SO adorable.
Carson and I rode the train, and Dillon took these two on the carousel. I thought Bailey would love it. She really did like it, even though you can’t tell in the pic, but ONLY when it was standing still. She hated it when it started to go!
We started to walk towards the penguins, and I looked back because Dev was taking longer than normal. It was because he was walking like a penguin.
The giraffe was only 2 or 3 months old.
The tiger cubs reminded me of both my boys, depending on the…minute. One of them was just fine, and the other one would start causing problems and wrestle with the other one, just because he was bored.
Sunday we had a bunch of family and some friends over for our traditional celebration of the first birthday. It was so great to have everyone over! Even though it wasn’t at the park like we had hoped. Somehow we all fit.
The invites. Thanks again to my sis Rachelle for the great pics.

Jake and Dev. I wasn’t very good at taking pics of all who was there! This is pretty much it.
My favorite picture of Bailey of the day.
This isn’t the best picture, but right before this, she was totally cute just getting really close and staring down the cupcake. She actually didn’t like it very much (completely different than my boys)! She ate a tiny bit of frosting, and then threw the cupcake on the floor twice. So this pic is right when she was sitting back up, but it reminds me of the cute stare down.
(Rachelle took this)

Happy Birthday Bailey!
We love you SO MUCH!
And, while we’re on the subject of Bailey. She can make a mess just as fast as any of my boys ever did. She is just as much into everything as they were at her age. This mess was made in a matter of less than 5 minutes!

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
