Since we’ve had a major picture overload. So today is that day!
And I hope you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day. I did. I woke up to my family bringing me a super yummy breakfast in bed. Dillon made German Apple Pancakes, and they were SO GOOD! They sang me “Mother I love you” and gave me some gifts. Carson made some cute things at school–a frame, some coupons, and a card. I loved it. Dev made me a flower at preschool. So cute!
This Mother’s Day I made a goal to try harder not to complain about my kids and their perceived faults. I decided that I do this too often. I understand that it is nice to talk sometimes about what I am struggling with, so please don’t expect perfection, but I am going to try harder. I know that it affects my attitude the way I talk about my life in general, and if I talk positively, then hopefully I’ll think positively as well. Because being a Mom is worth every hardship that comes with it! I really am truly honored to be a mom.
I got to go out to breafkast with my mom the day before. She is amazing, and I am so happy I got chosen to be her daughter! What a wonderful, strong, woman she is and has always been as long as I can remember. Thank you for being so wonderful Mom! I loved the chat we were able to have (and we shed tears in IHOP, how awesome are we???)
I also feel blessed to have so many wonderful mothers in my life. I have a great mother-in-law, great grandmothers, aunts, sisters, friends, SO many people who are wonderful mother figures in my life. Thank you!
That morning we decided to go to Temple Square. I’m so glad we went that day! The tulips are starting to get old, so I don’t think they’ll last much longer! Plus it’s been rainy and cold the last two days. I seriously just feel SO happy when I’m there. I love it. And being with my family looking at the flowers and the temple? It just doesn’t get any better!
So without further ado, I give you Temple Square. Hope you enjoy it through the pics if you aren’t able to make it! (As you can probably tell from the pics, poppies are just about my favorite flower, if not my most favorite).

Fun Mother's day! We haven't made it to Temple Square yet and if this weather keeps up, I don't think we will. I love photographing the flowers there!
Cool typewriter and sewing machine! What are you going to do with them? And where did you get that damask fabric!?! I want some!

Fun pictures!!! I wish I would have remembered to visit temple square this spring. I guess there is always next year….
Did you make Bailey's shirt? So, cute. I love how the poppy's were growing right up between the tulips! Breathtaking! Never thought of doing that before. I wonder how they got the timing just right.
