A couple Sundays ago we were able to go to the 150th anniversary of the Pony Express in Simpson Springs. It was a neat event! They reenact it every year and Jerry and Dillon’s cousins and Grandpa all rode in it! Here is an article about it. Dillon and his buddy formerly in the Forty Days band sang during the Dutch oven dinner. I took so many pictures, and this isn’t even half of them! That’s probably why I’ve put off blogging this for so long! But using Windows Live Writer really really helps the speed!!! Dillon sang great. Carson hamming it up in the sagebrush. Dev throwing rocks. At me—pretty cool huh. Bailey being cute. It really was so beautiful there! After dinner it was time for the reenactment. We all hopped in the truck to beat the rider to the hand-off spots. Dillon’s parents Sheila and Jerry. See the mail bags on the horse? And Jerry’s off! Driving past him. Bowdie’s turn. I honestly have NO IDEA how to spell Dillon’s cousin’s name! Dillon’s Grandpa Stew and cousin Peyton waiting for Bowdie. I like this picture. And as I said, Simpson Springs was quite pretty!

Beautiful sunset!
We have a Bode (Bow-dee) in our primary. I don't know if his cousin spells it the same way, but that's how ours does.

I loved it all! I felt like I just looked at your blog and it was still of Dillon's B-day, then all the sudden, there's a gazillion more to look at. And I love them all. The cowboy ones and the lemonade stand posters were my favorite. You have great kids, and it's because they have a pretty great mom!
