We started the day out eating breakfast with the ward. The kids got to have a bike parade. Then it was off to the Grantsville Parade. I thought it was kind of a lame parade this year, but the kids still had fun. Sitting at the end isn’t really a great idea because of the LONG breaks in between groups of people. I feel like half the time was spent waiting! Luckily I have cute kids to take pictures of:). And boy, did I ever take pictures! I love these next two of Bailey. She was waiting so patiently and would keep going out in the road to look. She’s looking a little tired of waiting here. Seriously, she could see them for a really long time before they made it, and each time she’d go check, she’d gasp excitedly and run to sit down and wait wait wait. Good thing they all had their flags to wave and keep themselves entertained. Oh, and bugs too. Always bugs. Dillon was able to drop by for a few minutes to watch the kids in their excitement. His band was playing in the park immediately following the parade. We did get a pretty good load of candy. Too bad the GROWN MAN sitting next to us holding his umbrella upside down got the majority thrown our way. Ha ha ha! Seriously, I don’t make these things up. Carson yelled, “Mom look! It’s Smokey the Bear!” Forty Days performed their very best concert, I would say. They did almost all original songs again, and seriously, they’ve got a great set of songs. The boys played on the playground you see on the left side of the picture, and I got to hang out with this pretty lady. FUN TIMES!
