So, I have the privilege of knowing a lot of great people in my life. One of them is Kami, and she teaches Relief Society in our ward. She’s a cool gal, and one of the most Christ-like, compassionate people I know. Just ask anyone in the ward…as far as I know, we all agree (and I know this because it’s frequently discussed:). So every time she teaches, I really feel motivated to do better, and I just wanted to share a quote she ripped right of her papers for me, after I had asked to get a copy of it. Thanks Kami!
President Monson:
“Frequently we are too quick to criticize, too prone to judge, and too ready to abandon an opportunity to help, to lift, and yes, even to save. …True love can alter human lives and change human nature.”
Ok, so I know that I said just one of those great quotes in the title, but I’m gonna share one more. My friend Rachel mentioned a great line from a song by Montgomery Gentry
“I look around at what everyone has, and I forget about all I’ve got.”
Love it! These are just reminders to me that I need to be more thankful for what I have, and less judgemental towards others. That is all. Over and out.
