Dino-Bites

August 30, 2010 By Christie

I was downstairs helping Devon open his chalk gift for getting his tonsils out (this was Tuesday or Wednesday), and I sent him upstairs to get some scissors.  He wasn’t talking at this point.  He came down, very solemn faced, and motioned for me to come with him and pointed upstairs.  I said, “You need me upstairs?”  He shook  his head yes.  I said, “Did Bailey do something.”  He shook is head more enthusiastically yes, and pointed frantically upstairs.  I said, “Something she shouldn’t have done.”  Vigorous head shaking yes at this point and standing up, pointing upstairs.  I go up there and find this:    DSCF1552   Seriously, it was the HUGE malt-o-meal bag and the entire thing was emptied.  This picture does not do it justice.  The good news?  It made Devon smile, which he hadn’t done much of after his surgery:).  DSCF1553

We all hope Devon is doing well! Nathan said, "Cool" when he saw Bailey in the cereal mess. Nathan also says that Carson looks pretty big for a 1st grader!

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
