It’s that time of year again! Dillon and his band have had a few concerts going on. This week there were 3 concerts—one of them in Star Valley WY. I guess that was the best concert so far. I talked with Arit and Nicole (two of the wives in the band who went) and everyone said it was awesome. There were more than 500 people just sitting listening, and they even got an encore. Dillon said they had many people come up and tell them they were the best band they’ve ever had at their fair. Dillon said it was just a really well attended fair. I wish ours was like that here! Anyways, you can go here to see pics from that if you’d like as well as 3 videos, thanks to Arit!
I know I am biased, but really…their band is doing so well. I am really amazed at how much they have improved in the last year. I am really proud of Dillon. I am also glad that he has something like this, because I think he blesses other people with his music. And it’s fun for him! Sometimes it is hard with the practices once a week and the performances, but when I hear him play and watch how much fun he is having, I am really happy for him. He has such a great voice and I’m glad he is sharing his talent!
Here are just a couple short clips. They are down to only about 3 covers per concert and the rest are originals. They are SO GOOD! I think they really need to start working on a CD this winter!
Bailey hung out with Nat all night, and the kids danced. I wish I had gotten better pics of them dancing, but it was dark since they played at night. They were super entertaining! About the last 4 songs of their concert, it started to blow SOOOOOO hard. It was crazy. We had a hard time walking to the van when it was over–it was blowing that hard! But they kept on playing! It was a great night!
Because of the sprinklers going in at our house, we weren’t able to go to any more of the fair this year. Maybe next year!
