Oh my little Bailey. So full of life and so fun. I just love this little girl to pieces. She brings so much joy to our family. She makes us laugh all the time. For instance, on the morning of her birthday, we sang to her and she got this sly grin on her face and said, “Is Devon’s burtday?” We’d all say no, until she went through all of us and got back to her and of course we all cheered and said, “Yea! Bailey’s birthday!” Then we asked her how old she was, and she likes to tease us all and say, “No, not two. Ten.” Or some random number. My favorite was, “Seben.” I love that she is such a girly girl. She loves to have her nails painted, she loves to wear dresses. Every Sunday after I put my dress in, she’ll come and pat me and say, “So pretty, mommy.” After going out to eat for dinner (Dillon’s parents took us all out), we went home and watched her birthday DVD that I started this year with Devon’s birthday. That has to be my new favorite tradition. The kids feel so special and want to watch their DVD’s all the time. Well, Bailey was no different and so we watched it twice. Every time a new picture popped up, she’d point and say, “Bailey!” Carson and Devon adore her. Daddy adores her. Mommy adores her too. Happy Birthday sweet girl. We love you so much! Now, stop growing up, ok? A few hundred pics of the celebrations: What two year old doesn’t love Elmo? Bailey sure does! Here is my sorry attempt at an Elmo cake. It all went downhill after the marshmallow eyes were placed. As you can see, the boys were more excited than Bailey was for her presents! I will say this though—her very favorite presents that she actually smiled for were the two things I made her. She laid out the blanket and said, “So nice. So soft.” She had to take the blanket and owl in the car to go to dinner, and when we were getting in, she was petting her owl and said, “Thanks make this, mommy.” How SWEET! Totally made staying up late worth every second:). I just had to include pics of her opening her shoes. The second she saw them, she started taking off her sandals to wear. At dinner with the Hurst folks. Fun times! Bailey was pretty shy and scowling through dinner (there were a lot of other people there with us, just by chance at the same time in Dillon’s fam, so we ate with them as well, and she doesn’t like crowds!). But afterwards, opening the presents from Jerry and Sheila, she was really happy. She was especially happy to have light up shoes like the boys! We said goodbye to Dillon’s parents, and came home for cake and her Bailey Show, as she calls it:). We had wanted to feed ducks but dinner took too long, so we went Saturday morning. Strange looking Seagull. Seriously, it was not like any seagull I have ever seen. Scooby Snacks!!!! We love you Bailey!!!
