Wow, 7 years old. It really doesn’t seem like it has been that long ago that my sweet Carson was placed in my arms and Dillon and I cried with pure happiness that our first child was born! Doesn’t he look so old in these next two pictures? And a little formal:). Ah, now that is my Carson, hammin’ it up:). His birthday was on Thursday. He started out with some yummy donuts. He was excited to take his treats to school and his special poster about himself. Oh, there it is again, the Angry Chicken move. As I have said, I’ve been having a hard time with my boys in school. It’s just something that once it starts, there is no going back. He’s seemed to enjoyed it so far. So what I’m saying is that it was a bit sad to not have him home all day with me on his birthday. So after school we went and got some ice cream at McD’s. He could not WAIT until after dinner (pizza, of course!) to open his presents. At night we went to see Toy Story 3 at the drive in. Such a cute movie, though it made me cry (but what doesn’t these days! And no, I’m not pregnant!!!) At the end, during the fun spanish version of You’ve Got a Friend In Me, Carson jumped out of the back of the van and started doing some awesome spanish looking dance. It was so funny and cute—especially with his light up shoes. I wish I had brought my camera, but I don’t think that fun image will ever leave me! Happy Birthday Carson! We are really proud of the progress you’ve made. You are a ball of fun and animation. We love to have you in our family, Carson! You are so much fun to be around. We love your jokes, your cute laugh, your love for all things fun, and how smart you are.
