Soccer Season!

April 21, 2011 By Christie

DSCF5296My boys are loving soccer.  We had them signed up for the same team, but they were too advanced for Devon being new to soccer this year.  But he sure gave it his all for the practice and first game!  He’s on a new team now because I asked that they move him to his age group rather than U8!DSCF5297DSCF5298DSCF5299DSCF5303 In the following picture, I know Dev isn’t kicking the ball or anything, but I just love how happy his face is in the background there:).  DSCF5309DSCF5310DSCF5312 Dillon and I were talking about how we LOVE how uncoordinated Devon is when he runs still.  He just doesn’t pick up his feet at all, and his arms and legs are flailing in all directions—and we both agreed we won’t say a word for now because we love that he’s always done it and we will be sad to see him change it, because that means he’s growing up!DSCF5315DSCF5316DSCF5318DSCF5319DSCF5320 Carson was a great goalie! DSCF5321DSCF5322 Go Ninjas!  (I’m unsure of what Dev’s team is called because they haven’t had a game yet!)

So fun! We love soccer too- watching and playing! I can't believe they use such big goals and already have goalies. That's advanced stuff there. :)

Cute! Your pictures make me so homesick with the quiet little neighborhoods and pretty mountains in the background! When I was a kid, soccer never seemed like that big of a sport in the places I had lived, but then we moved to Utah and pretty much everyone played it, so it seemed, anyway. Bailey looks like she's up to something mischievous. :)

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
