-So Ruby breaths about ten breaths more per minute than normal babies (40-60 is normal her age, she breaths 70). She breaths over 14,000 extra breaths/day. And when she eats she breaths even faster. Crazy! No wonder she’s so tiny burning all these extra calories! -on Carson’s bday, Devon woke up, yawned and stretched and immediately broke out into happy birthday , very high pitched. So cute. -Dillon brought home some donuts for Carson’s bday breakfast. Bailey, “I can’t believe there is bacon on that donut. Bluh.” and made a funny face. -Carson said he grew a head since his last birthday. Devon started to look at his head, like he was looking for something and said, “oh you grew another head? That means you should have two!” Cracked us up. -Dev put a candle on Carson’s cake upside down. Took a while of Dillon trying to light it before he said, “I put that one on upside down!” kind of proud of himself. :) -Carson looked at some dark clouds and said it looks like a tsuwami rather tsunami. So funny because he uses all these words that are so proper. And I love that he still messes up so he still seems like a kid. Because any kid that comes down and says his hair looks ‘untidy’ is just growing up too fast! -Ruby is now 3 months old and just barely out of newborn clothes. And only because of length—not weight! -Ruby made some noise and Bailey said, “Mom! She said a real human word!” -Carson was so great—he was reading a book that I asked him about and looked at that he got at the school library. It was a little too violent for my liking. I asked him how he felt about it and he started to cry a little and said, “I felt kind of bad…like I shouldn’t be reading it. I won’t read it anymore mom.” I loved that he recognized the feeling. Hoping to teach him to follow through with those feelings before I have to ask, but I’m still proud of him.
