two weeks

June 20, 2013 By Christie

Newborns.  There are few things better than a newborn.  I could stare at her all day long.  I feel so blessed to have her and my other children.     She’s such a little angel!  That horse is Bailey’s and we might just have to keep it forever so we can see how tiny she is! …

new

June 19, 2013 By Christie

So I totally don’t know how people get such amazing shots with newborns.  Ruby wasn’t really in the mood for pictures anyways since she kept waking up.  But you simply cannot let those first couple weeks slip by without taking pictures of their newborn glory—they are just so beautiful, sweet, and special. First, I’m going…

I couldn’t pass this up at Old Navy!  It was just too cute.  She loves it!  And had a couple cute poses for you :).  (eesh, sorry for the horrible phone pictures!)

I love this.

June 17, 2013 By Christie

I love how babies are so roly and curl up into a ball.  I just love it.  I love how newborns move everything so slowly and deliberately.  I love how she blinks.  I love love love babies.  I love how they curl up into your neck and sleep on your chest and you just relax…

First Time in a Dress:)

June 16, 2013 By Christie

But first here’s Dev making up for the turn holding Ruby Jane that he didn’t get from the night before ;).  Dillon’s cousin Jody got remarried today (YAY!).  If I wasn’t overwhelmed taking a newborn there after a c-section I might have taken my camera, but just know she looked beautiful and we are so…

“This is how God sent her to us.”

June 15, 2013 By Christie

Those are the words I keep coming back to.  The words Dillon spoke to me that night that I felt so hopeless and devastated for Ruby.  Ruby had just been placed into our arms on Wednesday and appeared so perfect.    Waiting to become pregnant with her for 2 years was difficult at times, but…

Sleeping Ruby Jane and how we get Bailey to sit still for fam scripture study now.

June 14, 2013 By Christie

And the secret to Bailey sitting still for scriptures?  Dillon was gone and I handed Ruby to Bailey and she sat still the whole time :). PS, my kids fight over who gets to hold her all the time.  If someone didn’t hold her while the other two did, they think the others can’t until…

First Meeting with Cardiologist

June 13, 2013 By Christie

I’m going to just post my emails to family after our appointments, since it sums up everything we learned at the appointments and is easier that way:). “Hey everyone. We met with the cardiologist (I’m up feeding Ruby so that’s why this is sent so early) today and I just wanted to pass along what…

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
