Scouts

March 31, 2013 By Christie

Devon is just as excited as Carson was to start Scouts.  He loves the boys his age in our ward and he has some fun leaders.  We’ve been working on some things at home for Scouts as well, and him planning and making a dinner was one of those. And eating it all up!  Yum…

Easter Egg Hunt

March 31, 2013 By Christie

It’s weird to celebrate holidays without Dillon, but we did it and it went well.  Though we do miss him a lot!   (he left on March 22rd to work on the Fort Lauderdale Temple for a month) Bailey’s age group—she’s in the pink pants, purple shirt. Dev waiting to hunt. And Carson’s—poor Carson hardly got…

March 26, 2013 By Christie

Bailey saw these somewhat creepy bobble head puppies at Joann and saved up her money for them.

29 week belly shot and the coolest ultrasound picture!

March 23, 2013 By Christie

I’ve not done well at all at getting my dslr camera out for belly shots, but I do have a couple more on my phone that I’ll post.  But here is one with my nicer camera (though I still don’t love the picture of me, I still love being pregnant at this point and am…

Dillon is leaving for Florida soon, so we had to dye our Easter eggs sooner this year.

St. Patty’s Day

March 18, 2013 By Christie

Our meal of corned beef, potatoes, green jello, and green koolaid.  Not much this year, but plenty for us! Then at bedtime, Bailey was completely enthralled by Dillon’s story he was telling her and I just love these pictures so much!

Christmas Quilt

March 14, 2013 By Christie

It’s done, it’s done!  Wow, props to you quilters.  I am not a quilter.  I’m not saying that I won’t ever make another quilt, because I have plans for possibly two more, but probably just two more for … the rest of my life.  It’s not that I disliked it—well, not the whole process at…

Cards to Teachers

March 14, 2013 By Christie

For teacher appreciation week, I had (made, in Carson’s words) my kids make their teacher a card.  I thought they were pretty cute, plus they worked on them for a long time so I took pictures. Carson’s card to Mrs. Anderson: Devon’s card to Mrs. Dale:  (I love that he cut out the letters for…

Our Devon

March 4, 2013 By Christie

Here’s Dev’s pictures I took for his birthday and baptism.  What a handsome little kid he is.  And here’s his baptism invite (minus addresses ;).  We sure love our Devon!  He is such a sweetheart but thankfully is learning to stick up for himself, which I find I’m happy about, even if he isn’t sweet…

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
