Couple Oldies but Goodies

June 1, 2012 By Christie

So I’ve posted quite a few new posts, but I back-dated them, in case you are interested. I don’t expect anyone to scroll back through my thousands of pictures I take, but in case you are interested, I did write about the Hurst Family Sealing a couple posts back. So now I have May all…

Memorable Moments: May 2012

June 1, 2012 By Christie

On our way to the field trip with Carson’s class, one of the kids asked if we went to New York. Carson laughed and said, “That’s not scientifically possible.” Then at the museum, Carson was excited to see everything. His friend Nick said, “Carson! You are too interested!” I put Bailey’s summer clothes in…

Liberty Park

May 31, 2012 By Christie

After we went to the Tracy Aviary, we met up with a couple friends to play in the water streams at Liberty Park.  We went when most of the school districts were still in school, so that helped a lot with the amount of people there, making it much more enjoyable.  Bailey was so funny…

Tracy Aviary

May 31, 2012 By Christie

I bought a Groupon that let the kids and I all in to the Aviary for $12.00.  I wouldn’t want to pay full price to go ever, but that price was good.  Plus Carson and Bailey hadn’t been for a few years (not sure Bailey ever had) and I knew they’d like it. Bailey following…

Princess Party!

May 30, 2012 By Christie

My friend Kim told us about a fun Princess Party her daughter’s dance academy was putting on to raise money, and it was her idea.  Cool!  At only $5.00 a kid, I thought it would be so fun to take Bailey (thank you for watching my boys, Sabra!).  She LOVED it!  All the girls there…

Wonderful Day!

May 25, 2012 By Christie

I don’t know if there are words to describe how amazing and wonderful this day was for the Hurst Family!  Jerry and Sheila were sealed in the Jordan River Temple on May 25, 2012, followed by Dillon, Jason, and Brad being sealed to them.  It was so beautiful.  I don’t think there was a dry…

Expert Report and Last Day of School

May 24, 2012 By Christie

Devon did a great job on his expert report.  Sadly, my computer didn’t get the video off and I didn’t know it before I emptied my card :( .  I hate losing videos!  He chose crafts as his expert subject.  He was a bit nervous but was so excited for it.  Carson had such a…

Paul Nailish

May 23, 2012 By Christie

That’s what Bailey calls nail polish.  And she does a great job painting her own nails when I’m not looking!

Whimsy Jacket for Bailey

May 22, 2012 By Christie

Just thought I’d show off Bailey’s latest modeling skills because I thought she looked cute.  The jacket pattern was given to me to review and the fabric I had already.

Random Pictures

May 22, 2012 By Christie

Carson writing his own Captain Underpants books.  He has to because I won’t let him read them.  He was very very very upset with me when I read through one he brought home and told him I didn’t want him to read them.  I just don’t want him to talk or think like that, but…

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
