Fashion Show #6

January 28, 2010 By Christie

Carson was just SO proud of himself for being dressed like this! And he wore it to school. If it makes him so happy and doesn’t hurt anyone else, I say, go for it! He came home happy, and excited that his teacher liked the yellow stripes he made out of paper for his vest.

Valentine’s Day Decorations

January 28, 2010 By Christie

The heart wreath above I made using THIS tutorial. I had the material left over from last year when it was on sale after Valentine’s Day. I would have LOVED to use the same red burlap as she did in the tutorial, but again, trying not to spend too much money (not to mention, the…

A Lemon Squeezy Home

January 28, 2010 By Christie

I started another blog. Dillon is teasing me that I’m going for an even dozen. He might be right. So, the reason I started it was for a couple reasons. The major one is to get more traffic to my Etsy shop. As many of you know, Dillon is in construction and work is SLOW…

Advice Welcome

January 21, 2010 By Christie

I love my boys. I love them to pieces. I think they are the coolest. I do not love pee all over the bathroom floor. Down the sides of the toilet, behind the toilet, on the floor, pretty much anywhere within 2 feet of the toilet. Gross gross gross. I tell them every time I…

How to Sew a Straight Line Blog

January 20, 2010 By Christie

My friend Sabra started a new blog last week. She’s going through this awesome sewing book and starting at the very basic, beginning stages of learning how to sew. And I LOVE it. What a great way to learn new things and become a better sewer, or whatever you call it. She has some great…

A De-pantsing Match

January 20, 2010 By Christie

Carson had his first wrestling match tonight! He told me, “This is the BEST tournament ever!” (except that it wasn’t a tournament, but I’m glad he loved it). He didn’t win any of his, but he did really well for his first match! His first one didn’t go so well for him–he was a bit…

Before and After

January 20, 2010 By Christie

Hopefully these aren’t annoying. I’m trying to craft a little more, and posting them here seems to motivate me more to finish a project once I start! :). A special jacket with a sweet spirit. Found at the DI. I just used the jacket’s existing pockets on the purse.

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
