So Dillon works an hour away in Alpine currently. I decided that since he was going to be at the Jazz game that night and wouldn’t see the boys all day that we’d go see him. Carson and Devon LOVE to look at houses that are being built as well. So first we ate lunch at the China Wok (YUM!) with Dillon’s boss Dave (he is an amazing person to work with–well, he and his wife are just amazing anyways!). I love fortune cookies. Here they are (top was Dillon, then me, then Carson’s, then Devon’s).
Then went and checked the place out. This is nothing compared to some of the stuff I have seen Dillon do, I’ll attach another photo from another house at the top that still isn’t the best work he’s done (depends on the homeowners and how much they want to spend!).
I love the storage window seats!
This is just amazing–Dillon didn’t do this obviously, but the whole playroom was an ice cream shop–very cute! It’s painted on the wall. After that I took the boys to Cabela’s. When we lived in more urban areas, we loved to go to pet stores, and I have a feeling if we lived in Provo anymore, we’d be stopping by Cabela’s quite often. It’s so fun to just look around!

My kids LOVE Cabela’s! They miss having one around here. And I love those houses. I might have one like that one day, but at this point I would settle for a house, period!

Wow–I’m very impressed! Those homes are beautiful. I’m with you–I would love a closet like that–it would be even better if I had enough shoes to fill it! :) I’m jealous of your fortunes–my fortune cookie fortunes are always lame and sound like a horoscope (i.e. “Reach for the stars and anything is possible!”) or similar lame comment.
