Girl or Boy?

April 14, 2008 By Christie

So my boys have arguments on what we are going to have. Devon wants a girl, Carson wants a boy. They’ll go back and forth forever with this, no matter how many times I tell them arguing isn’t going to change what we are having–it already is what it is! I told them that Heavenly Father knows what we are having and planned it that way, so we need to be happy with what He gives us:). Anyways, Carson surprised us all yesterday. We were at a family dinner with Dillon’s parents and a bunch of other people (at least 15). They asked Carson what he wanted. He said, “A boy. Well…a sister. Cause girls don’t have a pen**!” (sorry if that offends anyone, but it kept us all chuckling for a while). Thanks for the anatomy lesson Cars!

Good luck at your ultrasound tomorrow. I know it won’t matter to you, and you will be excited for either one!

How exciting! And no, I wasn’t offended. We knew a couple with a little baby boy and when their 3-year-old niece came to visit, she watched as they changed his diaper. Then, she asked, “Why does he have a thumb on his bum?” Out of the mouth of babes!

Your blog background is so cute! I use google reader so I don’t always see the backgrounds.

Good luck with the ultrasound. We are so excited for you!

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
